UK Older People's Day

The Time Bank and the PIP are getting together on Wednesday 1 October to host an informal coffee morning for the 2nd annual UK Older People's Day .....no, we didn't know there had been a first annual OPD either! Coffee, biscuits and information about what's available for "third agers" in the Pewsey area will be served up in the Methodist Church at 11.00 on Wednesday 1 October. We'll be handing out a short questionnaire to people, giving them a chance to suggest things they'd like to see happening in the area - with entries going into a "prize draw".

Pewsey Primary School have recently joined the Time Bank, and we've "borrowed" some pupils for Wednesday morning, to help hand out biscuits and generally save our old legs! We'll be organising a short quiz, with a younger person linking with one of maturer years to answer questions - again a small prize for the winners.
