Volunteer Centre Kennet

After being encouraged by Kirsty to do a bit more "blogging", I thought it was about time to update you a bit about Volunteer Centre Kennet. Unfortunatly due to funding issues, my hours for Volunteer Centre Kennet have been reduced from 17.5 down to 7. Although this is not an ideal situation to be in, I am determined to make the most of the hours I have and still try to get out and about across Kennet publicising volunteering opportunities for all organisations registered with us that are still so very desperate for volunteers. If you are from an organisation that uses volunteers and are not registered with Volunteer Centre Kennet please get in touch with me to see what I can do for your group. Directory of Voluntary & Community Groups

Last week the latest edition of the VAK Directory of Voluntary and Community Groups was sent out to members on CD, together with the latest newsletter. This directory contains the details of nearly 200 groups that operate in the Kennet area across a wide variety of activities.
